Jennifer Kruidenier
Owner/Speech-Language Pathologist
Based in Chapin, SC, Jennifer serves patients in Richland and Lexington counties. She is passionate about helping children and adults reach their goals in communication and swallowing. Providing in home care, she has the opportunity to treat people in their natural environment while collaborating with family and loved ones to create the optimal space for patients to improve their speech, language and swallowing skills.
My Story
I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, then moved to Boone, NC to attend Appalachian State University. After graduating with a BS in Communication Disorders, I got married and had my four beautiful girls. My husband's job brought us to Columbia where he is now a professor at the University of South Carolina. I completed my studies at USC with a Masters +40 in Communication Disorders and a Read to Succeed Certification. I have experience with adults in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient clinics treating patients with disorders due to stroke, MS, and other degenerative diseases and chronic illnesses. I also have experience with children in homes and in outpatient clinics treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders due to autism, speech-language delay, Down's syndrome, tethered oral tissues (tongue-ties), and seizure disorders.
Colleen Bodiford
Speech Language Pathologist
Colleen joined the team in 2024. She received her undergraduate degree in education from USC. After beginning her career as an Early Interventionist and a case worker for the autism society of SC, she returned to graduate school and received her Master's degree from SC State University in speech language pathology. Colleen is committed to helping children and adults improve their communication skills through personalized, functional, and evidence-based therapy. With a patient-centered approach and a passion for empowering others, she creates a supportive environment where clients feel encouraged to achieve their fullest potential.
